The Urban Redevelopment Authority has not issued new food outlet licenses for Joo Chiat and Serangoon Gardens for the last two years and six months respectively, due to congestion issues. Without new attractions, has the allure dimmed over them?For Holland Village, another established enclave, MRT construction works are finally completed and issues with parking have also been alleviated, but construction works on a community garden is still underway.
