Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).
Edwards directs from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, story by David Callaham, based on the character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO CO., LTD. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Patricia Whitcher and Alex Garcia are serving as executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.
The behind-the-scenes creative team includes Oscar®-nominated director of photography Seamus McGarvey (“Anna Karenina,” “Atonement”); production designer Owen Paterson (“The Matrix” trilogy); editor Bob Ducsay (“Looper”); Oscar®-nominated costume designer Sharen Davis (“Dreamgirls,” “Ray,” “Django Unchained”); and Oscar®-winning visual effects supervisor Jim Rygiel (the “Lord of the Rings” films). The score is being created by Oscar®-nominated composer Alexandre Desplat (“Argo,” “The King’s Speech”).
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures present a Legendary Pictures production, a Gareth Edwards film, “Godzilla.” Slated to open beginning May 16, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D, 2D and IMAX® in select theatres and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd.

Cuiping is touched by Tianpeng’s sincerity and both agree to marry each other. As Tianpeng follows Heilong to ‘Ya Sha’, Heilong looks for a chance to kill him. However, Tianpeng is on guard against Heilong and manages to escape this death ordeal. Tianpeng guesses that Heilong’s attempted murder was because of Cuiping, but he denies. Lim Nee Soon was born in Beach Road in Singapore. Both his parents died during his early childhood and he was brought up by his maternal grandmother Madam Tan Poh Neo (who was the mother of Teo Eng Hock, the owner of Wan Qing Yuan). He was effectively bilingual, having done 2 years of private school in Chinese, and later went to an English school. At 26, Lim Nee Soon bought a piece of land in Seletar for farming. In less than 10 years, he became known as the rubber and pineapple king. Not only did he encourage workers to settle and live in the Nee Soon Village which he developed, he also started a school for children of different dialect groups and funded the first Chinese secondary school in Singapore.
Guangping finds out about Guangda’s plan to start an opium farm and sends someone to burn the farm down. Guangda tries to stop Guangping and as both were struggling, Guangping falls down the mountain valley. Heilong goes alone to check on Guangping and strangles him to death. Upon hearing the news of Guangping’s death, Zhenniang suffers a big blow and faints.
