Colombian villagers force soldiers out of base
Miranda in the Cauca valley of western Colombia has been on the front line in the war between the army and FARC guerrillas for decades - now indigenous people there have had enough. They forced troops out of a strategic military base on June 9th - with no weapons - and have been occupying it since. They say they want both the army and the FARC off their land. Their example has since been followed by other indigenous groups in Colombia - such as at Cerro Berlin in Toribio, where a villager was killed in clashes with the army last week. Duration: 02:00
